Reverent (adj):
feeling or showing deep respect or veneration

Many things others think are crazy are the very things I enjoy – skydiving, dancing in the rain, hunting down fig trees, being a vegan, not having a car, and believing that everyone has the power to change the world. I live life as an adventure, balancing fun and work. I am mindful of how my actions impact the environment and those around me.

As well as being a dancer, I am pursuing a Masters of Architecture. I want to help shape more livable communities, decrease sprawl, emphasize the value of green building, and help us collectively make environmentally conscious decisions.

Life is so much better when you approach the world with reverence and compassion. Think less about yourself and more about the whole and the amazingness of life.

Interview Excerpts

Why are you an ecobabe?

I go out of my way to learn about how my actions affect those around me and nature. And then I go about changing my actions to be less impactful, many times going out of my way. It's definitely a balance between doing things the easy way (as this society is set up so that waste and consumption are normal) and doing things how I ideally think they should be done. My actions sometimes inspire others and that's a good feeling.

How do you stay positive and inspired?

I'm around wonderful people who are working toward goals to help others and the planet. Being in a community and noticing the beauty all around.
